It's best to start your question with the word, or words 'What' or 'What can the cards tell me about so-n-so'.

Note: 'How' is another good word to start the question with. i.e. "How can I reach more spiritual
enlightenment?"

Examples:

"What can the cards tell me about a relationship with so-n-so?"

"What can the cards tell me about my job situation?" [A little vague but acceptable.]

"What can the cards tell me about writing a book?"

"How can I gain insight in my current job situation?"

Here are some words you don't - or should NOT use to start your question because they imply a Yes or No
answer.

No-No Words/Questions:

Should  [i.e. Should I change jobs?]

Can  [i.e. Can I get a date with so-n-so?]

If  [i.e. If I change will so-n-so like me better? If I work harder will I get a promotion?]

Will  [i.e. Will I get a date with so-n-so? Will I get my promotion?]

Should, Can, If, and Will [as well as other words] are asking for a Yes or No reply from the cards - which may
not yield the answers you are seeking.

You can always rephrase the question to a "What can the cards tell me" type question with just a bit of thought.

Another word to try to stay away from is 'When'. When implies a time period.

Question: "When will I get my promotion?"

Now what's wrong with the last question?

1.) It assumes you are going to get the promotion!!! Which may not be the case.

2.) It asks for a time frame.

ask more when we get started."
